Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some frequently asked questions

Is moving to a certain direction a form of fortune telling?
The idea of finding the proper direction derives from feng shui-kigaku, but my proposal here is specifically focused on regaining health rather than strengthening fortune. My idea is based on my personal experience. Once I was feeling ill for a considerable period of time after a series of moves due to work assignments and changes of residence.
I consulted numbers of doctors but no one could pin-point my problems. Being desperate, I decided to try a feng shui-kigaku directed trip, however with a great deal of suspicion. To my surprise, I felt fine soon after the trip.
Since then, for twenty years, I have experimented with good direction trips for myself and my friends, and have come to the conclusion that direction influences the human body. I discovered many others are also experiencing physical problems after their moves due to the negative effects of direction. If there are negative effects, however, there are positive effects as well.
It is audacious for me to say that finding the best direction solves one’s health problems 100 percent, but I have an urge to say that if a person goes to the right direction at the right time when one has to move or travel, quite a few people could ease their health problems.
My proposal can be considered as a change of pace defined by direction and time period. I would like to further analyze the benefit of feng shui-kigaku directed trips in order to make the best use of them.
Do the trips work for any health problems?
First of all, it is necessary to see your physician, but if the doctors cannot figure out the causes or the problems recur, and if the person has ever changed one’s place of residence even during his/her childhood, or during long term traveling including business trips, it is worthwhile trying.
In my case, when I was 32 years old, suddenly I became unable to walk straight because of dizziness. I had been given an MRI only to find that nothing was wrong. Meanwhile, because my problem persisted, I took my first kigaku trip and traveled to the northeast. Then, my dizziness stopped, although I still have muscae volitante (or myodesopsia) which also occurred when I was 32.
When can one enjoy the benefit?
In my case, my dizziness disappeared a day after I took a good direction trip.
As for hay fever especially, I was suffering from it for nearly twenty years. It was amazing that my symptoms were alleviated after my first good direction trip and was completely gone after a second, which was a year after.
What is Nine-Star Kigaku?
Japanese "Ki" is a special magnetic field of the earth and Japanese "gaku" is learning. Nine-Star Kigaku comes from the Chinese zodiac, that tells if a direction would be good or not, and specializes in human actions rather than buildings. base Ki

The fundamental rule of Nine-Star Kigaku is as follows: The earth has 9 types of magnetic fields called "Ki" of Star1, Star2, Star3, Star4, Star5, Star6, Star7, Star8 and Star9. As shown Figure 1, these magnetic fields are oriented in the 8 directions of east, west, north, south, northeast, southeast, northwest and southwest, and in one more direction perpendicular to the surface of the earth.

In addition to the above fixed set, the earth also has the variable two sets of 9 types of magnetic fields. One set changes types of 9 directions every year as shown Figure 2, and another changes types of 9 directions every month as shown Figure 3.
Ki year
Ki month
A human being is exposed to the magnetic field of the direction perpendicular to the surface of the earth from the first breath, and, a birth star of year and a birth star of month are decided. Then, staying and moving to specified directions influence the human body according to the following rules:

1. Original rules of Nine-Star Kigaku
1-1. Positive direction to enhance the human body
Based on Chinese 5 elements theory, every human being belongs to one type among Fire, Water, Wood, Metal and Earth.
  a) When you belong to Star9 of Fire, the directions of Star3/Star4 of Wood and Star2/Star5/Star8 of Earth are good for you.
  b) When you belong to Star1 of Water, the directions of Star3/Star4 of Wood and Star6/Star7 of Metal are good for you.
  c) When you belong to Star3/Star4 of Wood, the directions of Star1 of Water and Star9 of Fire are good for you.
  d) When you belong to Star6/Star7 of Metal, the directions of Star1 of Water and Star2/Star5/Star8 of Earth are good for you.
  e) When you belong Star2/Star5/Star8 of Earth, the directions of Star6/Star7 of Metal and Star9 of Fire are good for you.

1-2. Negative direction to damage the human body
  a) The direction of Star5 and the opposite direction are bad for you.
  b) The direction of your birth star of year and the opposite direction are bad for you.
  c) When you are under 27 years old, the direction of your birth star of month and the opposite direction are bad for you.
  d) The Chinese calendar has the 12 animal symbols and each symbol represent a specified direction. Each year has a symbol as shown Figure 2, and each month also has a symbol as shown Figure 3. The opposite direction of the symbol of a year is bad for you, and the opposite direction of the symbol of a month is bad for you.
  e) When you are a child, the specified direction is bad for you.

2-1. Additional rules of my own
  a) When you stay more than 3 days to a negative direction in view of your birth star of year, the year parts of magnetic fields in your body go negative. In the same way, when you stay more than 3 days to a positive direction in view of your birth star of year, the year parts of magnetic fields in your body go positive.
For example, as shown Figure 2, when you stay 3 days to the northeast in 2010, the year parts of magnetic fields, those are Star2 located to the northeast in 2010 and Star8 fixed to the northeast, go negative because of above rule 1-2-a). And, when your birth star of year is Star9 and you stay 3 days to the north in 2010, the year parts of magnetic fields in your body, those are Star4 located to the north in 2010 and Star1 fixed to the north, go positive because of above rule 1-1-a).
  b) When you stay more than one day to a negative direction in view of your birth star of year, the month parts of magnetic fields in your body go negative. In the same way, when you stay more than one day to a positive direction in view of your birth star of year, the month parts of magnetic fields in your body go positive.
For example, as shown Figure 3, when you stay one day to the east in October 2010, the month parts of magnetic fields in your body, those are Star1 located to the east in October 2010 and Star3 fixed to the east, go negative because of above rule 1-2-a). And, when your birth star of year is Star9 and you stay one day to the north in 2010, the month parts of magnetic fields in your body, those are Star8 located to the north in October 2010 and Star1 fixed to the north, go positive because of above rule 1-1-a).
  c) When you are under 27 years old, your birth star of month also influences magnetic fields in your body as well as above a) and b).
  d) The more days you stay, the more influence of a direction you have. You receive the highest influence on the month parts of magnetic fields in your body after two days stay, and the highest on the year parts of magnetic fields in your body after 9 days stay.
  e) The magnitude of the year parts of magnetic fields in your body is larger than of the month parts. However, when either the year parts or the month parts are in a negative status, it causes ill health.
